Scope of this policy
This policy covers:
- our public website at latibe.com, including the private beta application form;
- the Latibe web workspace at app.latibe.com and its related services (for example AI interview, AI expert and developer agent features, resource generation, and on-demand build pipelines), together “the Service”; and
- email and other communication with us.
Mobile applications that you build with Latibe are your own products. If your applications process personal data about their end users, you are the controller of that data and are responsible for your own privacy notices.
Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Beta application data: your email address, and any other details you choose to include in your request (such as your name, company or intended use).
- Account data: your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and, if you sign in with a third-party provider, the basic profile information that provider shares with us.
- Project content: the ideas, specifications, prompts, chat messages, files, images and other material you submit, together with the code, assets, build artifacts and other output the Service generates for you.
- Voice data: if you use voice features (such as AI Interview Mode), the audio you speak is streamed for real-time processing and transcription. We do not use voice recordings to identify you.
- Integration data: if you connect services such as GitHub, the account identifiers, repository information and access tokens needed for the integration to work. API keys and secrets you add are stored encrypted and used only to perform actions you request.
- Communications: the content of support requests, feedback and other messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and log data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, timestamps, pages and features accessed, and error and diagnostic logs.
- Usage data: how you interact with the Service, such as projects created, builds triggered and feature usage, which we use to operate, secure and improve the platform.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR). Please do not include such data, or personal data about other people, in your project content unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
How we use your data and our legal bases
We process personal data only where we have a legal basis under Article 6 GDPR:
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reviewing beta applications and onboarding cohorts | Beta application data | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): running a controlled beta. Where you request access, steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). |
| Providing the Service, including AI processing and native builds | Account, project, voice and integration data | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Account administration and service communications | Account data, communications | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting | Technical, log and usage data | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the platform safe and reliable |
| Improving the Service during the beta, using aggregated or de-identified usage insights and feedback | Usage data, feedback | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): developing our product |
| Product updates and beta news by email | Email address | Legitimate interests for existing beta participants, or consent where required. You can opt out at any time. |
| Bookkeeping and legal compliance | Account and transaction data | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), e.g. the Swedish Accounting Act |
| Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims | Relevant data | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. The Service does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing (Article 22 GDPR).
AI features and generated output
Latibe relies on large language models and multimodal AI services, including Google’s Gemini models, to interview you, design architectures, generate code and assets, and answer questions. When you use these features, the relevant prompts, project context, files and voice audio are sent to the AI provider for processing, and the output is returned to your workspace.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. Review the output before you rely on it or ship it to end users. See our Terms of Service for more.
International data transfers
We aim to store and process personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Some of our service providers, including AI and infrastructure providers, may process data outside the EEA, for example in the United States. Where this happens, we make sure the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard under Chapter V GDPR, such as:
- an adequacy decision by the European Commission, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients; or
- the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where needed.
Contact us if you want more information about these safeguards.
How long we keep data
- Beta applications: until the end of the private beta, or 12 months after your request if you are not onboarded, whichever comes first. You can withdraw your application at any time.
- Account and project data: for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account or projects, we delete or anonymise the data within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within a further 60 days.
- Voice audio: processed in real time and not stored as recordings after the session. Transcripts and resulting specifications are kept as part of your project data.
- Log and security data: normally up to 12 months.
- Accounting records: seven years, as required by the Swedish Accounting Act (Bokföringslagen).
We may keep data for longer where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. These include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, encrypted storage of secrets and access tokens, least-privilege access controls, isolated build environments, and logging of administrative access. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach is likely to result in a high risk to you, we will notify you without undue delay, as required by the GDPR.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access: obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- Erasure: have your data deleted in certain circumstances;
- Restriction: limit how we process your data in certain circumstances;
- Data portability: receive data you provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format, and have it transmitted to another controller. You can request an export of your generated application code and project assets by contacting us or requesting repository access via the Service.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew.
To exercise your rights, email contact@latibe.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden this is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), www.imy.se. You can also complain in the EU/EEA country where you live or work.
Children
The Service is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to join the private beta. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service develops, for example when the private beta ends or when we add new features or service providers. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If the changes are material, we will also notify registered users by email or in the Service before they take effect.
